I want to word this perfectly because there’s so much I’m trying to convey! A language of the heart. A presence of mind, spirit, and body. How nature became almost like a tangible friend. The way time, finally after years of begging, slowed to almost a halt and I was no longer wrestling it, tallying the events at the end of the week, wondering where it had gone. The beautiful community of people we met along the way.
I’m talking about my trip (again, Bridget?!) but I’m talking about it this time because I want you to feel all of these things with me and then some.
Simply put, I want us to take a trip together.
It won’t be six months, but it will be a handful of days where time will move at a different pace, where we’ll find community together in a sacred, beautiful space, where we can move our bodies, and be reminded that there’s so much goodness out there when we make the time to see it.
Let’s take a trip together!!!!
After ours, I was struck by how badly I wanted to make this a possibility for everyone. I wanted to share the how, encourage you to do it, help everyone and their mother find a way to make it a reality on some level or another. It nearly kept me up at night. Not necessarily a six-month RV trip across the US but something. I was ready to create itineraries myself, lead trips, get insurance, the whole thing—but felt stuck by the sheer amount of work I couldn’t do alone—camping equipment (if necessary), researching transportation, so on and so forth. It was endless. So when I came upon Trova Trip, I felt like I found the thing. Trips I want to take, trips I think you will want to take, and trips that are cost effective. Details ironed out by them, so we can simply show up and have an amazing experience together.
It would truly be such an honor and a joy to do this alongside you. In order to make it a possibility, I need to have a certain number of surveys filled out by my community—you!—where you pick a few of the places you’d like to go, and when you’d like to go to them. It’s a two minute survey and it’s simple. Then—the big ask!—come on the trip with me if it calls to you, if it’s feasible, if you can take the time, set aside the money. Here’s the survey.
It would be a dream to do this with you. As I hit send on this, I’m crossing my fingers, saying a prayer, sending my wishes up that this might become a reality.
Thank you. Thank you for being here, for your time, and for considering this.
